“The Qatar National E-commerce Roadmap 2017 has identified e-commerce as a key imperative for the country’s thriving business community, owing to factors including a robust ICT infrastructure and high levels of internet and mobile connectivity.

The launch of Masterpass in Qatar will support the objectives of this vision by offering consumers a quick, safe and convenient payments solution, thereby increasing consumer confidence in digital commerce and accelerating the adoption of electronic payments,”

“We’re delighted to be working with Mastercard to bring this brand-new service to Qatar.

Ooredoo has a host of self-service payment options, however, we’re always looking and investing in ways to make our customer experience truly seamless and we hope Masterpass will help us achieve this.”
