Manage the company’s interaction with the Startup ecosystem, mainly around InsurTech and adjacent businesses, with the objective to identify, partner, grow & invest into InsurTechs and bring new business to QIC.
- Design, plan and deliver events (Webinar, Events) that boost the ecosystem and help us connect its players globally but with focus on the MENA region
- Be integral part of the organization committee to organize the MENA InsurTech Summit with focus on the StartUp ecosystem & Run the InsurTech programs within other Conferences like WebSummit Qatar
- Design, plan and deliver the company’s InsurTech Accelerator / competition programme, run Mentor programs and mentor startups
- Strategic and operational business development of potential partners to bring new insurance products to the region working with QIC Business Departments until products are launched
- Must be able to negotiate & manage & execute your own workstreams
- Should have extensive understanding about regional start-up communities and ecosystems within the MENA region and has been preferable part of a couple of investments into startups
- Need to be able to talk in social media about QIC and their activities and run other necessary digital marketing activities to attract deal flow
- 5-10 years’ experience ideally in Strategic Business Development, Startup-Ecosystem, Event Management and partnerships, ideally with Insurance background
