As a Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects / Programs within mPay. This role works on Payment projects and serves Telco industry.The Senior Project Manager's responsibilities include:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor team progress to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are maintained
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and lead problem-solving efforts to keep projects on track
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Budget Management: Track project expenses, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborativeand productive work environment
- Change Management: Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential impacts, and communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and other relevant records
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices, contributing to the evolution of project management methodologies within the organization
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in telecom/payment industries is a plus
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development projects
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks
- Proficiency in Jira administration, including project setup, workflow configuration, and user management
- Strong understanding of project management principles, techniques, and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Familiarity with Agile tools and practices beyond Jira is a plus
