Yasir Al Rumayyan is the Governor of Saudi Arabia’s PIF, the sovereign wealth fund of the country, and Chairman of the state-owned petroleum company Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s largest mining company Ma’aden, and Sanabil Investments, an investment firm.
Yasir’s experience encompasses over 25 years working in some of Saudi Arabia’s prominent financial institutions. He began his career at Saudi Hollandi Bank, becoming head of international brokerage before joining the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), where he was head of securities listings. Between 2011 and 2015, he was CEO of Saudi Fransi Capital (SFC), the investment banking arm of Banque Saudi Fransi, and from 2014 to 2015, he was on the board of directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange.
Yasir holds a degree in Accounting from King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
