Presight has hosted its first AI-Startup Accelerator Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi, bringing together ten startups from around the world for a three-day programme aimed at scaling practical AI solutions.
The Bootcamp marks the launch of Presight’s AI-Startup Accelerator, whose first cohort will continue through to December.
Participating startups will take part in a structured acceleration programme, receiving technical support, introductions to Presight clients, and expert mentorship, with the goal of presenting their progress at GITEX Expand North Star 2025.
The event, which began on August 18, brought together entrepreneurs, global technology leaders, and UAE institutional partners to engage with the startups and assess the applicability of their solutions.
Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, said:

“We launched this initiative to identify and scale the world’s most promising AI innovations, integrate them into our ecosystem, and deliver lasting impact across industries. By equipping the ten exceptional startups in our inaugural cohort with world-class infrastructure and the critical levers to accelerate their commercial trajectory, we are amplifying their growth velocity. The UAE is a global epicentre of AI innovation. Through this programme, our first batch of startups, coming from the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and the UAE, will unlock bold ideas, open new frontiers of economic potential, and contribute meaningfully to the UAE’s vision for global AI excellence.”
On the first day, the startups presented their ideas in grouped pitch sessions aligned with three themes.
The Urban Visionaries track focused on urban challenges such as climate, mobility, and infrastructure.
AI Tool and Tech Makers showcased foundational technologies for secure and scalable AI development.
Market Shapers included startups applying AI to industries such as fintech, energy, education, and investment decision-making.
The audience included ambassadors from Singapore, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from G42, Core42, Space42, Astra Tech, Inception, and Analog.
Partners and clients supporting the event included Microsoft, Hub71, MOIAT, ENEC, FAB, ADNOC Onshore, Borouge, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy.
The day also featured interactive demonstrations and a panel with NVIDIA, MBZUAI, Shorooq, Astra Tech, and Presight.
On the second day, the cohort visited AI facilities across Abu Dhabi, including ADNOC, AIQ, Astra Tech, and Space42, gaining insight into how AI is deployed in energy, infrastructure, research, and national innovation initiatives.
The Bootcamp concluded at Presight’s headquarters with strategic planning sessions, commercial readiness workshops, and a panel discussion.
Partners including Microsoft, Core42, and ADQ led training modules to help the startups refine their go-to-market strategies and prepare for long-term engagement in regional markets.
