Ignyte, a Dubai-based digital start-up ecosystem, has announced a collaboration with Binance to advance blockchain innovation across MENA.
The partnership will establish a blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation platform aimed at supporting adoption, providing resources for entrepreneurs, and encouraging practical applications of the technology.
It will also contribute to the Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) wider innovation initiatives, which support the city’s position as a centre for finance, technology, and innovation.
The collaboration will begin with a competitive hackathon bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, and industry specialists from MENA and beyond.
Participants will address challenges such as digital asset infrastructure and real-world blockchain use cases.
Shortlisted teams will present their solutions to investors, corporate leaders, and policymakers during a final demo day, with opportunities for funding, mentorship, and access to markets.
Alongside the hackathon, Ignyte and Binance will provide ongoing support for blockchain start-ups.
This includes developer tools, infrastructure access, training programmes, workshops, mentorship from Binance’s global network, and opportunities through DIFC’s Innovation Hub and international partners.

The initiative builds on DIFC and Ignyte’s experience in scaling start-ups, growth-stage firms, and global companies, with the aim of setting benchmarks for blockchain development both regionally and internationally.
