The Emirates Growth Fund (EGF) will serve as the Exclusive Growth Capital Partner at Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026, the UAE’s flagship industrial forum, which will take place from 4-7 May at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi.
The designation marks a milestone in EGF’s first year of operations, as it continues to establish itself as a platform supporting the country’s industrial development agenda.
In this role at MIITE 2026, EGF highlights its function as a growth capital investor supporting UAE-based businesses and its position within the wider SME ecosystem.
EGF launched at MIITE 2025 and operates with backing from Emirates Development Bank as the UAE’s growth equity institution, focusing on addressing the capital needs of companies aligned with national industrial priorities.
It invests across manufacturing, food and agriculture, healthcare, and advanced technology, targeting UAE-based firms with established operations and growth potential.
Recent examples include CarniStore, a premium protein business, and Tarmeem, an orthopaedics and spine specialist hospital.
Over its first year, EGF has moved from setup to deployment, building investment activity and working with government entities, regulators, and industrial stakeholders.
It aims to connect capital with industrial policy and sector development, supporting the scaling of local companies.
At MIITE 2026, EGF will introduce a number of initiatives and partnerships aligned with the UAE’s industrial strategy.
These are expected to reflect its transition from establishing its framework to executing its investment mandate.
Khalifa Al Hajeri, Chief Executive Officer of the Emirates Growth Fund, said:

“EGF is the UAE’s growth equity investor, established to deploy capital in line with national priorities. We invest in companies that are established in the UAE and have the potential to contribute to the country’s industrial base. Our focus is on working with founders to support long-term value creation and business development.”
