Fuze has partnered with cybersecurity firm Halborn to help banks and institutions launch compliant digital asset services.
The companies announced the collaboration ahead of a co-hosted event at the Point Zero Forum in Zurich.
The partnership combines the regulated digital asset infrastructure provided by Fuze with Halborn’s security assessments, threat intelligence, and risk management capabilities.
Together, they plan to present a new framework designed to help financial institutions build secure digital asset operations, addressing security concerns that often delay institutional entry into the market. Institutions expanding into digital assets face serious security threats.
Digital asset platforms lost more than US$3 billion to hacks and exploits last year alone. This highlights the need for robust security controls from the start.
To meet this demand, Fuze and Halborn will collaborate on regulatory and industry policy. They will also share security practices and work together on commercial go-to-market implementations.
The two companies will also co-author content and co-host events to educate the sector on secure infrastructure.
Rising institutional demand
The partnership aligns with a broader shift among financial institutions moving digital assets from exploratory projects to core business strategies.
Mo Ali Yusuf
“As institutional adoption accelerates, the need for trusted infrastructure, robust cybersecurity and regulatory alignment has become critical to bringing digital asset products to market,”
said Mo Ali Yusuf, Chief Executive Officer of Fuze.
“Working in collaboration with Halborn provides institutions with the complete package to roll out compliant digital asset services.”
Rob Behnke
“Digital asset security is the foundation upon which institutional adoption will be built,”
said Rob Behnke, Co-Founder, Executive Chairman and President of Halborn.
“As tokenisation and digital asset custody continue to gain momentum, financial institutions need security, governance, and operational controls that protect assets, manage risk, and create the trust required for long-term growth.”
Through this partnership, the two companies aim to establish secure digital asset infrastructure as a standard for institutional adoption.
This approach is intended to provide banks with the confidence and regulatory certainty needed to participate in the digital asset economy.
