LexisNexis is expanding its operations in the Middle East and the wider GCC region through a multi-million-dollar investment spanning technology, content localisation, and product development.

The expansion aims to support legal professionals navigating the region’s regulatory environment.

The investment builds on more than a decade of operations in the region, where LexisNexis has established a legal intelligence framework.

LexisNexis uses this infrastructure to underpin Lexis+ with Protégé, its legal AI platform. It is also fully localising the platform for Middle Eastern jurisdictions to provide regional legal content, practical guidance, and workflows designed specifically for the region.

Unlike general-purpose generative tools, LexisNexis grounds the platform in verified legal sources to support day-to-day legal operations across regional jurisdictions.

The company has already deployed the platform globally and is now tailoring it for the Middle East as regional governments accelerate digital transformation.

Both nations are investing significantly in digital infrastructure, creating momentum for innovation across professional services and the legal sector.

LexisNexis has structured legal content across key jurisdictions, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. This digital foundation is designed to support advanced legal technology applications.
