e& UAE has partnered with Core42 to launch Sovereign AI Compute, an AI infrastructure platform for enterprises.
The joint offering integrates Core42’s sovereign GPU capacity with e& UAE’s connectivity network, allowing organisations to deploy AI applications while keeping sensitive data within the UAE.
raditional cloud environments may not provide sufficient local capacity or meet data residency requirements, particularly for regulated sectors such as financial services.
The new platform addresses these operational barriers by providing scalable local GPU infrastructure. It also reduces the need for high capital investment in on-premises hardware.
Core42 provides the AI accelerators and implementation services for the initiative. e& UAE delivers carrier-grade connectivity to link enterprise environments directly to the infrastructure.
The companies have also introduced GPU Connect, a bundled service combining GPU access with premium connectivity.
The platform allows users to build, train, and deploy AI models with a competitive cost structure that includes zero egress fees and no upfront capital expenditure.
It also leverages Core42’s Signature National Disaster Recovery Cloud to support operational continuity during national-scale disruptions.

“AI is becoming a key part of how organisations operate,”
said Esam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President of SMB Sales and Marketing at e& UAE.
“Through our collaboration with Core42, we are enabling UAE enterprises and government entities a simpler, faster and more secure way to access sovereign GPU infrastructure, connect their data and operationalise AI at scale.”
Jaafar Al Hashmi, VP of Government Relations and Market Development at Core42, said the partnership moves sovereign AI from a foundational concept into an operational tool.

“This partnership with e& UAE extends sovereign AI from foundational infrastructure into an operational capability, integrating compute, connectivity, and implementation into a single framework built for deployment,”
he said.
The initiative aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which outlines plans to expand AI adoption across government operations, healthcare, finance, mobility and digital infrastructure.
