Binance has introduced Agent OS, a developer platform connecting AI applications to its trading, market data, wallet, payment and on-chain tools.
Developers can use it to build agents that trade and manage accounts on a user’s behalf, either through ready-made integrations or their own AI applications.
Users can authorise agents built on tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to access market data, view account information and place trades, within permissions they configure themselves.
Each agent can be assigned to a dedicated subaccount, keeping its activity separate from the user’s main account and off-limits to non-trading data such as email addresses or KYC information.
Agent OS runs on Binance’s existing APIs, Wallet Agentic Hub, x402 payments and Skill Hub, now with added support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI applications to external tools.
Binance can monitor trading activity and orders placed through the platform, but not an agent’s underlying reasoning, which stays within the user’s chosen AI application.

“Binance Agent OS addresses the fragmentation developers face when building agentic finance applications,” said Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance.
He told TechCrunch that Agent OS is Binance’s “first step” toward letting AI applications act across both crypto and traditional markets.
Binance isn’t the first exchange to make this move.
Kraken launched a similar MCP-based tool in March 2026, Coinbase followed in June with Coinbase for Agents, and OKX has taken a similar approach.
