Meedaf, a financial services entity licensed by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and launched in April 2025, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Brink’s, a global provider of cash and valuables management, digital retail solutions, and ATM managed services.
The partnership aims to strengthen the cash management and ATM services landscape in the UAE by improving efficiency, security, and operational standards.
This marks the first strategic partnership under the Meedaf platform and will offer financial institutions access to Brink’s global infrastructure, technologies, and operational experience.
The venture will provide integrated services that include cash-in-transit, money processing, ATM management, and digital retail solutions such as deposit machines, cash recyclers, and kiosks.
The initiative also aims to reduce costs and enhance operational performance across the cash handling ecosystem by incorporating advanced technologies.
Brink’s brings extensive international experience in managing large-scale operations, supported by proprietary systems for route optimisation, crew deployment, and cash centre performance.
These systems will be integrated into Meedaf’s regional operations to help financial institutions simplify processes and achieve greater consistency.
Meedaf’s local expertise is expected to play a key role in implementing these technologies and capabilities in a way that addresses the unique needs of the UAE market.
Eng. Abdulla Abdul Aziz AlShamsi, Managing Director and CEO at Meedaf, said:

“By harnessing Brink’s unparalleled global expertise in cash management, we are poised to deliver exceptional operational efficiency and security to financial institutions across our region. This collaboration represents a pivotal stride towards realising our vision of a more agile and resilient financial ecosystem.”
Nader Antar, EVP and President, Brink’s IMEA and APAC and Brink’s Global Services, commented:

“By providing a competitive value proposition, superior services and solutions that bridge physical and digital commerce, we will set a new standard in the UAE market for cash management, digital retail solutions and ATM management services.”
The venture will initially launch in the UAE, with plans to expand into key markets across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
