The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has launched the Dubai AI Seal, a verification system developed to support the growth of the AI industry in the UAE.
The Dubai AI Seal is designed to verify businesses that provide genuine AI technologies and services.
By establishing a clear framework for recognition, it aims to reduce the presence of unqualified suppliers and ensure that organisations operating in Dubai can rely on credible and relevant partners.
The seal classifies companies into six tiers according to their activities, ongoing and future projects, and their contribution to the economy.
This system allows businesses and government entities to assess the impact of AI companies with greater clarity.
Each seal carries a unique serial number that can be checked through the Dubai AI Seal website, offering a transparent process for verification.
For companies, the seal provides an opportunity to enhance credibility and improve access to business opportunities within Dubai.
For government and private sector organisations, it offers protection against misleading claims and simplifies the process of identifying suitable AI partners.
Applications for the Dubai AI Seal are open to businesses of all sizes operating legally in Dubai.
The process involves submission of company information, assessment by the DCAI, and classification under the relevant tier.
Approved businesses will receive their personalised seal, which is provided free of charge.
Through this initiative, Dubai aims to encourage wider adoption of AI across industries while ensuring that the sector develops on the basis of trust and measurable impact.
