Yango Group and noon, a regional e-commerce platform, have announced a partnership to deploy autonomous delivery robots across the UAE.
The collaboration begins with autonomous deliveries for noon Minutes customers in Dubai, moving the technology from pilot trials to live operations.
The rollout will initially focus on the Sobha Hartland community, with plans to expand across the UAE and the wider GCC, guided by operational performance and customer feedback.
The electric robots, developed by Yango Autonomy, can independently plan routes, navigate around obstacles, and yield to pedestrians.
Customers can select the delivery robot option in the noon app, track its progress in real time, and unlock the secure compartment upon arrival via smartphone.
The robots have previously completed over 1,500 kilometres of autonomous travel in Dubai pilots.

“Partnering with Yango Group lets us bring a future-ready delivery option straight to our customers,”
said Ali Kafil-Hussain, Chief Business Officer at noon.
“Autonomous robots add a smart, sustainable layer to our last-mile network. They give us extra delivery capacity during peak times, help keep service levels consistent, reduce emissions and congestion, and create an experience that feels natural for customers who already live their lives through digital solutions.”
Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head at Yango Group Middle East, said:

“By combining Yango Group’s expertise in AI-powered delivery with noon’s presence in e-commerce, we can support cities, businesses, and regulators on their journey to smarter mobility and more sustainable digital cities.”
The initiative follows approval from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, allowing the robots to operate on public walkways and within residential areas.
