PayTabs Egypt has announced a strategic partnership with Edita Trade, a subsidiary of Edita Food, a major player in Egypt’s packaged snack market.
The collaboration will integrate PayTabs Egypt’s cash collection solution into Edita’s operations. It will streamline payments and cash collection between their representatives and end-point distributors.
Through the partnership, Edita will have access to more than 550,000 points-of-sale (POS) machines across Egypt.
This is facilitated via four leading cash aggregators.
Using PayTabs Egypt’s unified platform, Edita can collect payments from distributors nationwide without managing multiple aggregators separately.
The integration is expected to simplify Edita’s cash collection processes, providing real-time visibility of transactions and reporting, reducing the reliance on traditional collection methods, and improving cash flow management.
Haytham Morsy, VP of Commercial and Business Development at PayTabs Egypt, said,
“This partnership exemplifies PayTabs Egypt’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that empower businesses to thrive in the growing digital economy. It is a testament to our shared vision of fostering progress in the digital payment ecosystem.”
Diana Wadid, Group Treasury Senior Director at Edita, added,

“This collaboration will improve efficiency and transparency and enhance the experience for our distributors. By leveraging PayTabs Egypt’s network and technology, we are confident in streamlining our operations and gaining a competitive edge.”
