Careem Pay has expanded its remittance service to include Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, allowing residents of the UAE to transfer money directly to bank accounts in both countries.
The addition brings the total number of supported destinations to more than 35, including key corridors such as India, Pakistan, Europe, the UK and Egypt.
The service deposits transfers to Türkiye and Saudi Arabia into recipients’ bank accounts within five to ten minutes.
The service supports transactions of up to AED150,000 for Türkiye and AED36,000 per transfer to Saudi Arabia.
Careem Plus members are offered zero fees and preferential rates for international transfers.
Mohammad El Saadi, Vice President of Careem Pay, said:

“These two corridors were natural next steps for us, and each one reflects a different customer need. In Saudi Arabia, people want to know their money is moving securely and that trust matters as much as the speed. For Türkiye, slow transfers and uncertainty about when the money actually lands has been an issue. We’re solving that with funds arriving in under 10 minutes.”
The expansion reflects differing remittance dynamics in each market.
Saudi Arabia is a major global remittance corridor, supported by government efforts under Vision 2030 to increase financial inclusion and widespread use of bank transfers.
An estimated 6.5 million Turkish citizens living abroad largely drive the country’s remittance flows, with the UAE serving as a key source of higher-value transfers.
The new corridors are available through the Careem app under the ‘Pay’ function.
