Yuno has partnered with Onafriq to grant international merchants access to payment networks across Africa.
The integration connects Yuno clients to 43 African markets through a single API.
The partnership enables merchants to access nearly 1 billion mobile wallets, 500 million bank accounts, and 2,000 cross-border payment corridors.
For businesses looking to scale into Africa, the collaboration addresses the difficulties of connecting to fragmented local payment rails.
Expanding the Yuno payment network
The infrastructure supports the entire payment lifecycle, offering capabilities such as real-time disbursements, omnichannel collections, card issuance, treasury management, and stablecoin settlement.
Transactions are backed by local regulatory licenses alongside ISO 27001 and CMMI Level 3 certified security.
Yuno merchants can now execute payouts to mobile wallets, bank accounts, or cash pickup points.
They can also accept payments across various channels without having to manage multiple individual integrations or regional compliance frameworks.

“Africa represents one of the most exciting growth opportunities in global commerce, and yet too many merchants are still locked out by payment infrastructure that was not built for scale. Our partnership with Onafriq changes that,”
said Juan Pablo Ortega, Co-Founder and CEO, Yuno.
“By bringing their African network into our infrastructure layer, we are giving our clients a single path to a continent-wide network.”
The move aligns with the growth strategy of Yuno to connect merchants to regional payment methods globally.
Following previous expansions across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, Africa represents the next core phase of growth for the platform.
For Onafriq, the technical integration opens up access to a new segment of international merchants seeking a streamlined entry point into African commerce.
The agreement brings together mobile money operators, banking institutions, fintech firms, and enterprises into a connected network.

“Through a single connection, global merchants can reach consumers and businesses across Africa more seamlessly than ever before, while more people across the continent gain access to the digital economy on their own terms,”
said Dare Okoudjou, CEO, Onafriq.
The payment integration is operational across Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, and Uganda.
Clients can access the mobile money disbursements, collections, card issuance, and foreign exchange treasury services of Onafriq directly from their main dashboard without signing additional contracts.
