Redpin, a global property payments platform backed by Blackstone in a US$170 million investment round, has secured in-principle approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
The regulatory milestone enables the company to progress toward offering property payment services to the real estate developer ecosystem in the UAE.
This expansion directly aligns with the Dubai Land Department target of increasing real estate transaction volumes by 70% by 2033.
Launching the Redpin Platform
The clearance supports the rollout of the Redpin Platform, a new payment infrastructure built specifically for property developers.
The system digitises traditionally manual property payment processes to deliver secure end-to-end transactions for developers and their clients.
Developers can use the platform to reduce the administrative time and resources dedicated to reconciling international currencies.
At the same time, consumers can expect lower foreign exchange costs and enhanced transaction security.
Institutional Interest and Market Data
The regional expansion comes amid continued institutional interest in the region long-term fundamentals, a trend that has also attracted global firms like Goldman Sachs and Redpin backer Blackstone.
This influx of international capital highlights the demand for greater transparency and security within property transactions.
Dubai real estate transactions reached AED 68.56 billion in April 2026, marking an increase of more than 20% compared with March, according to Dubai Land Department data.
While activity cooled in May to AED 40.63 billion across 12,879 deals, transaction volumes remained concentrated in off-plan developments, which represent a core market for the platform.
The underlying payments infrastructure has processed more than US$138 billion in lifetime volume to date, according to the company.

“Redpin focus on delivering an outstanding service for developers and consumers alike is a key differentiator in a fast-paced international market like the UAE,”
said Arnaud Loiseau, CEO of Redpin.
