Spend management platform Alaan is launching an embedded business banking account for UAE companies in partnership with ruya.
The product integrates digital banking capabilities directly into the Alaan platform, allowing businesses to manage corporate cards, supplier payments, invoice automation, and accounting in a single workflow.
This launch follows a recent initiative where the company committed AED 3 million to support local businesses by covering their utility and telecommunications bills.
The new account aims to centralise financial operations for companies increasingly adopting digital and embedded finance solutions.
Automating B2B payments and invoices
The embedded account enables users to process local transfers and cross-border payments to over 40 countries with no transfer fees, according to the company.
Businesses can also receive inbound customer payments through the same account used for outgoing transactions.
An AI tool reads invoices as they arrive by email or upload, automatically extracting vendor details, VAT information, and due dates.
The system flags duplicate invoices before processing and routes bills to designated approvers with a complete audit trail.
All payments sync directly with major accounting platforms such as Odoo, Zoho, Xero, and QuickBooks. Companies can add unlimited users to the account, with cashback offered on all corporate card spending.
Embedded finance partnership
Through the Banking-as-a-Service infrastructure provided by ruya, businesses gain access to Shariah-compliant digital banking embedded directly within the Alaan platform. ruya is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE.

said Parthi Duraisamy, Co-founder and CEO, Alaan.
