Policybazaar.ae has partnered with Tabby to launch split-payment options for insurance premiums in the UAE.
The partnership enables customers to pay for motor and health insurance through interest-free monthly instalments, lowering the upfront cost of coverage.
Through this integration, users can divide their annual premium payments into four equal monthly instalments with zero interest and zero processing fees.
Customers looking for longer repayment windows can also opt for extended payment plans spanning six, eight, or twelve months.
Tap Payments provides the checkout infrastructure for the integration. The system allows users to select Tabby at the point of purchase to complete the transaction securely.
Annual upfront premiums have traditionally served as a financial barrier for households trying to secure comprehensive insurance coverage.
This integration aims to address this financial strain by embedding flexible BNPL options at the moment of purchase.
Toshita Chauhan
“Insurance decisions should never come down to cash flow,”
said Toshita Chauhan, Chief Business Officer, Policybazaar.ae.
“With a no-cost payment plan option built directly into the checkout, customers can now choose the plan that truly protects them, not just the plan they can afford to pay for in one go.”
Zain Khan
Zain Khan, Senior Director of Business Development, Tabby, said:
“Customers can now get the cover they actually want, paid over time, rather than settling for less because of timing.”
The flexible payment option is now live for consumers utilising the marketplace platform in the UAE.
