First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has launched Send Now Pay Later (SNPL) through its digital financial platform Payit, giving eligible customers a way to send money internationally straight away and repay it later.
The feature lets customers complete an international transfer immediately, then settle the amount within 30 days.
SNPL carries a revolving credit limit of up to AED 5,000, according to Payit’s own site.
Customers check their eligibility and approved limit within the Payit app before completing a transfer, using the same remittance journey they already use for regular transfers.
Payit designed SNPL to address short-term cash-flow gaps, such as supporting family during an emergency, covering an unexpected expense, or sending money before a salary lands.
The feature targets customers who need to send funds immediately but would rather repay over the following weeks than wait to save the full amount upfront.
SNPL adds to Payit’s broader digital platform, which combines payments, remittances, rewards and borrowing in a single app.
The platform also includes the Payit Universal Account and Payit Plus salary account, both aimed at expanding access to digital banking across the UAE.
FAB describes itself as the UAE’s global bank, with total assets of AED 1.41 trillion as of June 2026 and a footprint across more than 20 markets.
