FairMoney Microfinance Bank has surpassed 30 million registered users in Nigeria.
The company says the milestone reflects growing use of its mobile platform for everyday financial needs, from borrowing and saving to transfers, bill payments, cards and asset financing.
Through the FairMoney app, customers can open and manage an account, save money, pay bills, make transfers, use cards, access credit where eligible and finance assets.
The company says bringing these services onto one platform is intended to extend formal financial access to individuals and businesses that face barriers such as extensive paperwork, limited access to physical bank branches or a lack of formal credit history.
FairMoney Business offers similar services to merchants and small and medium-sized enterprises, including business accounts, payments and other financial products for that segment.
According to the company, FairMoney processes tens of thousands of loan applications daily through its automated digital platform.
It says this allows eligible customers to access credit without extensive paperwork or a branch visit.

“We will continue to invest in technology, strengthen our products and build solutions that respond to how Nigerians save, make payments, access credit, run their businesses and manage their finances. Our ambition is not simply to reach more people, but to become a more valuable financial partner to the customers and businesses we serve,”
said Henry Obiekea, Managing Director of FairMoney Microfinance Bank.
