Abhi and NymCard have partnered to help UAE financial institutions offer credit to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) more efficiently.
Through its embedded finance platform, Abhi delivers earned wage access (EWA) and other financial technology solutions. NymCard, for its part, provides payments infrastructure in the Middle East.
Under the Abhi NymCard partnership, the two firms will combine Abhi’s business financial solutions with NymCard’s card and payments infrastructure.
Together, they will support the key stages of the SME credit journey. This covers digital onboarding and origination, as well as decisioning and disbursement.
As a result, banks and licensed financial institutions can streamline steps that have traditionally been fragmented.
They can also onboard SMEs, process applications and make credit decisions faster before releasing approved funds.
In addition, lenders can introduce and scale SME credit products without building and linking multiple components themselves.
For SMEs, the companies said this means a simpler and faster path from application to approved funds.

“There is a significant opportunity for technology to transform how SME credit is delivered in the UAE,”
said Shiraz Ali, Chief Business Officer at NymCard.

“By combining Abhi’s technology with NymCard’s platform, we can simplify the credit journey and serve SMEs more efficiently,”
said Zain Ali, AVP, Sales & Partnerships at Abhi.
Both companies said the partnership reflects a shared focus on technology that helps UAE financial institutions bring digital financial products to market more efficiently.
