The UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA) has made changes to improve how stakeholders access and reference its regulatory frameworks.
According to the regulator, the move supports efforts to strengthen its regulatory environment in line with international best practices.
Stakeholders can now access the rules in both Arabic and English.
The CMA has organised the content into defined chapters and categories. These cover regulations in force, approved updates, repealed provisions, archived materials and version history.
As a result, users can view the current rules and track how they have changed over time.
The CMA designed the changes to help investors, licensed entities, issuers and financial influencers understand the regulatory framework.
This also applies to regulatory sandbox participants and other stakeholders in the UAE and abroad.
New functions include enhanced search and filtering, improved navigation and links to related content.
Users can also switch directly between Arabic and English. In addition, each regulatory update appears with its relevant dates and version history.
Furthermore, a cloud-based, AI-ready technology infrastructure supports the new access mechanisms.
The CMA said this provides a stronger foundation for future use of technology in regulatory search and retrieval.

“By improving the way regulatory frameworks are accessed, presented, and updated, we are making it easier for stakeholders to understand the frameworks governing the capital market, while further enhancing transparency, efficiency, and confidence,”
said Waleed Saeed Al Awadhi, Chief Executive Officer at the CMA.
