Fawry has linked its Business POS terminals directly to DMS‘s business management software, according to a report by Zawya.
The integration is aimed at medical institutions and other organisations that run their operations on DMS systems.
Under the new setup, a transaction entered on a DMS terminal is passed to Fawry’s POS system automatically, removing the need for staff to key it in twice.
Once the payment goes through, that status feeds back into the DMS system without anyone updating it manually.
The connection also moves transaction data automatically between the two systems.
This cuts down on errors that come from entering the same data twice across two systems. It also shortens the time it takes to settle transactions.
The two companies called the project part of a broader effort to connect payment processing with the software businesses already use day-to-day.

Bassem Lotfy, Head of Business Development at Fawry, described the integration as a step toward linking payments with business management systems.
He said it supports process automation and cuts manual work.

Roaa Mamdouh, Strategic Alliances Director at DMS Egypt, said the partnership gives businesses and hospitals practical tools to run daily operations more accurately and efficiently.
