botim money, a fintech platform in the UAE, has partnered with GCash to expand digital remittance access to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) across the UAE-Philippines corridor. The partnership will enable botim money users in the UAE to transfer funds directly into GCash wallets.

This would allow recipients in the Philippines to use the funds for bills, savings, investments and other digital financial services.

Hesham Sherif, the Head of Remittance Business at botim money, shared,

“Through our partnership with GCash, we are connecting botim money users in the UAE to a trusted financial ecosystem, already embedded in everyday life in the Philippines, strengthening one of our most important corridors’ remittance experiences.”

botim money will continue to scale priority corridors, including the Philippines, India, Pakistan, and Egypt.

Jonathan Que, the General Manager for GCash International, added,

“By enabling direct wallet access, we are making remittances more seamless, more relevant and more connected to the broader financial needs of Filipino households.”
