Visa has introduced Visa Private, a premium offering designed for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) seeking services and benefits beyond standard card features.
Initially launching in the UAE, with plans for a broader rollout across the GCC, Visa Private combines secure payment technology with a range of travel, lifestyle and retail privileges.
The launch comes as the UAE is expected to record a net inflow of around 9,800 millionaires in 2025, the highest worldwide.
Visa Private aims to help issuing banks address the specific expectations of HNWIs, whose requirements extend beyond everyday payment functionality, while also supporting the UAE government’s objective of establishing the country as a leading global wealth hub.

“Visa Private shows how we turn insight into action. Working closely with our bank partners, we designed a product that reflects the lifestyle of the region’s most discerning clients while upholding the highest standards of security and convenience,”
said Yuri Topunov, Vice President and Head of Products & Solutions for MENA at Visa.
“By giving high-net-worth individuals a seamless way to pay and a richer set of experiences when they do, we are helping our partners deepen customer relationships and supporting the UAE government’s wider digital commerce agenda.”
The offering includes services such as complimentary airport lounge access for the cardholder and two guests, airport transfers within the UAE, visa-application support through OneVasco, Harrods Gold tier membership, and access to discounts at select fine-dining restaurants and beach clubs across the GCC.
Cardholders also benefit from complimentary access to leading padel courts, hotel stays at more than 20 premium hotels, and exclusive offers at Club Med.
Visa Private forms part of Visa’s global strategy to serve affluent clients through personalised, technology-driven solutions.
It provides issuing banks with a ready-made suite of exclusive privileges, supported by Visa’s global payment network, which is accepted at more than 150 million merchant partners worldwide.
