Yuno has raised a US$45 million Series B round led by Global PayTech Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, QuantumLight Capital, Monashees, Kaszek, and regional investors Rasmal Ventures, Further Ventures, and GrowthX Capital.
The Colombia-founded payments infrastructure company said the funding will accelerate its path to profitability and fund continued product expansion, including agentic commerce and its banking-sector business.
Yuno connects businesses to more than 1,000 payment methods and 460+ integrations across over 190 countries through a single API, with built-in intelligent routing, one-click checkout, and AI-powered fraud detection.
Over the past year, the company said it recovered more than US$5 billion in otherwise-failed transaction volume for merchants, lifted authorisation rates by roughly 5%, and saved customers over US$500 million in processing costs.
Yuno’s customers include McDonald’s, NetEase Games, GoFundMe, inDrive, and Rappi, and the company said it is on track to process US$100 billion in annual transaction volume within the next 12 months.
The round’s regional investors underscore Yuno’s momentum in the Gulf.
The financing follows Yuno Payments Arabia’s Payment Technical Service Provider certification from the Saudi Central Bank in April, a partnership with Tap Payments that opened local payment rails including Mada, KNET, and NAPS across all six GCC countries, and a buy-now-pay-later partnership with Tabby serving more than 25 million shoppers across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Soumaya Ben Beya Dridje
“The hardest problem in payments is being genuinely local everywhere,” said Soumaya Ben Beya Dridje, Partner at Rasmal Ventures, a Qatar Investment Authority-backed fund.
She said the Gulf’s payments market is growing quickly and that Yuno pairs global ambition with the financial discipline the region’s new trade corridors need.
Juan Pablo Ortega, Co-Founder and CEO of Yuno, said the company is raising the round to meet customer growth and extend its lead, with a clear line to profitability over the coming year, crediting AI for changing the economics of building payments infrastructure compared to earlier generations of players.
Building a Regional Hub
Yuno has established Qatar as its regional hub for the Gulf Cooperation Council, building on its Tap Payments and Tabby partnerships and its Saudi regulatory certification.
Rasmal Ventures and Further Ventures, a sovereign-backed investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, join GrowthX Capital, backed by entrepreneur Hamad Al-Hajri, as regional backers of the round.
