Emirates NBD has introduced an AI travel assistant in the UAE, developed in collaboration with Visa and Tripadvisor.
Users can plan trips through a conversational interface that suggests itineraries and destinations based on their preferences, budget and travel style.
Recommendations draw on more than 1 billion reviews and 8 million listings from Tripadvisor.
More detailed customisation is available for the 15 destinations most popular with UAE travellers.
Alongside travel suggestions, the tool displays relevant Visa cardholder offers, such as hotel discounts and car rental benefits.
Access is free and does not require a bank account or login. The service is available in English on the Emirates NBD website and a dedicated Tripadvisor domain.
According to the bank, the average UAE traveller plans seven trips a year, and some travellers spend up to three months researching a single trip.

“The launch of our AI Travel Assistant marks another significant milestone in establishing Emirates NBD as a pioneer in AI-driven, customer-centric digital solutions,”
said Rohit Garg, Group Head of Retail Products and Chief Digital Officer of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD.

“This initiative demonstrates how innovation, trusted partnerships and
AI can come together to create smarter, more seamless and rewarding travel experiences,”
said Salima Gutieva, Visa’s VP and Country Manager for UAE.
For Emirates NBD, the launch extends its digital offering into lifestyle services beyond conventional banking.
