Yuno, a global payment orchestration platform, has signed a MoU with Snoonu, a rapidly growing super app in Qatar, at Web Summit Qatar.
The agreement aims to enhance Snoonu’s payment infrastructure, focusing on innovation, security, and efficiency in digital transactions.
The MoU follows Yuno’s announcement of its new regional headquarters in Qatar, established with the support of Invest Qatar.
This expansion is part of Yuno’s strategy to contribute to the country’s digital economy and strengthen its presence in the Middle East.
Through this partnership, Yuno will integrate its payment orchestration technology into Snoonu, which facilitates deliveries of food, groceries, electronics, and other goods in Qatar.
Yuno’s platform provides access to over 1,000 local and global payment methods through a single integration, optimises payment infrastructure across 200 countries, improves transaction approval rates, and enhances payment security.
Yuno’s technology offers streamlined payment processing, automated transaction routing to maximise efficiency and reduce failures, and AI-driven fraud prevention to strengthen security.
A centralised dashboard will also help Snoonu manage its payments and financial operations more effectively.
Yuno’s regional headquarters in Qatar is part of its strategy to support digital commerce and fintech innovation in the Middle East.
This expansion enables the company to provide localised support to Snoonu and other businesses seeking to improve their payment systems and scale more efficiently.
Juan Pablo Ortega, Co-founder and CEO of Yuno, said:

“This partnership aligns perfectly with Yuno’s mission to enable global commerce by simplifying payments for businesses around the globe. Yuno’s MoU with Snoonu is an important part of our expansion into the Middle East, which also includes plans to open our regional headquarters in Qatar, as we aim to help empower businesses across the entire region with the best payment solutions available.”
Hamad Mubarak Al Hajri, CEO of Snoonu, said:

“At Snoonu, we are constantly looking for ways to enhance our user experience. Partnering with Yuno allows us to offer seamless, secure, and flexible payment solutions, reinforcing our position as Qatar’s leading super app.”
